Peninsula Fiber Artists is a vibrant community of over 100 members based in the northwest corner of Washington State, with a focus on the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas. We are dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of textile and fiber arts. Through connection, collaboration, and shared learning, we support the creative and professional growth of fiber artists at all stages of their journey.

Mead Werks Tasting Room

 

SALISH SEASONS

August 1 - October 26, 2025

Join us for the 6th annual exhibition at the Mead Werks tasting room, located at Wilderbee Farms (223 Cook Ave, Port Townsend). This year's exhibition features 38 textile pieces created by 15 talented members of the Peninsula Fiber Artists.

The tasting room is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Fridays through Sundays.

Most pieces are available for purchase directly from the artists, with prices starting at $75.

FIBER ON THE STRAIT

August 19 - October 25, 2025

We invite you to explore the vibrant coastal colors and textures through fiber art at the Laura Cooksey Gallery at Field Arts and Event Hall, located at 201 W Front St, Port Angeles. This exhibit features both two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces, as well as wearable art, all created using a variety of materials and techniques, including quilting, silk painting, wool felting, beading, thread painting, and collage.

The Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 2 hours before ticketed events. Free admission; donations are appreciated.
