Peninsula Fiber Artists is a vibrant community of over 100 members based in the northwest corner of Washington State, with a focus on the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas. We are dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of textile and fiber arts. Through connection, collaboration, and shared learning, we support the creative and professional growth of fiber artists at all stages of their journey.
Our group was founded in 2013, and since then, we have held group exhibitions in a variety of venues, including galleries, museums, libraries, and retail spaces (see PAST EXHIBITIONS for details and photos). In addition, we maintain the FIBER HABIT WINDOW, a walk-by exhibit in uptown Port Townsend that changes six times annually. See UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS for more information about our future exhibitions. See below or CURRENT EXHIBITIONS for details and photos of our current shows.
Members of the Peninsula Fiber Artists gather on the second Wednesday of each month, alternating between Port Townsend and Sequim. Doors open at 9:30 for setup and socializing, and the meeting starts at 10:00. Meetings include show-and-tell, inspiring artist talks, technique demonstrations, and updates on group shows. Meetings are open to the public. Visit our MEETINGS page for the schedule and more information.
